Balagan - an Hebrew word for charming chaos.
We literally started with a big Balagan. Founder and owner Katharina - or simply Kat - started cooking dozens of meals for the ones in need during the infamous COVID-19 crisis in her own tiny kitchen at home. Following her passion for cooking and a vision of creating an honest, conscious and inclusive food culture inspired by the Middle East, Balagan quickly turned into a proper restaurant business and an insider tip for foodies in the center of Ericeira.
